The Huion H420 vs Bamboo Fun review discloses the difference between these Chinese products that managed to create a certain image. The first device has much better pressure sensitivity and higher resolution. The second unit is bigger and weighs only 2.85 pounds. Both tablets have the same number of USB ports, but the Bamboo Fun also supports the micro USB.
Both devices look amazing, but it’s easy to see that the Huion is too small. The Bamboo looks more solid and has bigger dimensions, allowing drawing the relatively big pictures without limitations. The first device is black, while the second one has a grey appearance, on which it’s easy to see even very small scratches and spots.
The Bamboo Fun vs Huion H420 comparison reveals the difference between buttons (4 versus 3). The first model allows adjusting the express keys according to personal preferences, while the second model has keys with clearly defined tasks: save, close the page, or make a space in the text. The H420’s performing speed is much lower than the Bamboo’s because the drawing process appears with pauses and the lines are displayed on the screen in a few seconds after the physical pen’s drawing.
A short testing period is enough to compare these devices’ pens. I see that the Huion’s nib is made of a hard plastic that feels like it’s scraping the tablet. The Bamboo doesn’t have such an issue due to the very soft and well-designed stylus nib. At the same time, I don’t like that the Bamboo Fun’s pen refuses to draw from time to time. It doesn’t respond to my movements and I have to reset it. The Huion’s stylus is regarded as a very practical device, which hasn’t significant flaws.
