Make a right choice – Wacom Intuos Draw or Huion H610?

Wacom Intuos Draw or Huion H610

Wacom Intuos Draw – a high-quality drawing tablet for the newcomers

Wacom Intuos DrawLooking for the best drawing tablet, I decided to compare Wacom Intuos Draw vs Huion H610 and share my personal expressions that could be useful for those, who are also seeking out the better one.

First of all, I would like to express, Wacom Intuos Draw has no multi-touch capability. There is the art software that has to be downloaded. Actually, I think, the driver from Wacom can be downloaded seamlessly. My favorite art program is ArtRage, being easy and available online, it is great to stick with the entry-level tablet as Wacom.

Wacom Intuos Draw PROS :
  • I’ve found that the dots on the surface show the active area. I think it is great if you don’t want to move your hand a lot. I can use just the small part of the surface.
  • The pen is very light in comparison to a typical pen and has only two program buttons. It has no battery but a needful loop for a pen on the tablet top. For me, it is necessary as I usually lose pens.
  • The texture of the tablet seems to me comfortable to draw on.
  • I find the control buttons are cool-looking being in the top corners that makes it easy to reach them.
Wacom Intuos Draw CONS:
  • The outer case doesn’t seem well protected at all.
  • I need more pixels actually but this tablet is too small to top all the pixels.
  • The pen has no eraser tip.

Coming back to choice Huion H610 vs Wacom Intuos Draw the comparison chart of the next device could simplify my dilemma.

Huion H610 – the best solution for a reasonable rate?

Huion H610Huion H610 has been adopted at the market of digital drawing tablets and is a worthy rival, I think.

Huion H610 PROS :
  • The device is easy and has a dry start. I’m surprised, but remapping is done for seconds; changing the shortcuts is also easy and rather quick.
  • It is unbelievable that it has 2048 pressure levels.
  • The pen feels good in my hand. It is slightly thin but still comfortable.
  • One more function I have found great is that this drawing tablet has a multi-touch function.
Huion H610 CONS:
  • For me, the coating of the surface seems to be a little bit slippery.
  • The buttons on the side of the tablet are bad-designed. I miss the function of touch scrolling.
  • For me personally, the only connection USB is not enough.
  • The pen works with the battery that is not practical. The absence of it would be awesome.

Have you finally chosen Huion H610 or Wacom Intuos Draw?

I think both models could be deemed as the best drawing tablets suggested on the market today. The stressful choice of the one device versus another comes down to some functions of the devices depending on personal needs. When you don’t miss touch while drawing and you need a wireless connection then go for Wacom Intuos Draw, in case the point of the receiver comparison isn’t of high importance, but the higher pressure level is at the top functions – go for Huion H610.

Your personal choice may be also determined by other additional functions of each tablet as buttons or pen design, size of the digital board, package and protection box, nibs’ choices, portability and lightweight as well as the other characteristics. Think about the most essential measures and make a right choice!
