Huion H610 vs Huion H610 Pro review

At any photographer, which use a retouch of images (we talk about portrait works), sooner or later have a problem with a right hand (if he is a lefthander).

Hours-long work for the personal computer, even at knowledge of "hot keys" brings discomfort to a wrist, the ache appeared and flow fingers. The periodic gymnastics doesn't give relief for a long time. Such problem can be solved by graphic tablets. Today we compared two popular tablets HUION 1060 vs 1060PRO.

HUION 1060 PRO vs 1060

Graphic tablet HUION 1060

HUION 1060There are 4 wide rubber feet on the bottom. There are also fixing screws, one of which is closed with a seal.

The size is 24x35x1.3 cm. The weight is small. Color black, matte.

On the left side you can see the mini USB port. It is slightly recessed into the body.

The other parties are free from any connectors. On the front of the left, there are eight control buttons. They have their own default settings. But if you wish, they can all be reprogrammed.

The working surface has size of 10х6.2 inches. Surface matte and quite not usual to the touch. Reminds a little, touchpad of some laptops.

Material of plasticity, hasn't flown down. Reacts only on the stylus. In this model of the tablet the finger touch isn't supported.

In the top part of a working surface there are sixteen points of pressing. To which it is possible to appoint the necessary keys, or combinations of keys. Very handy during the work in Photoshop.

Pros
  • low price
  • 8 buttons and 16 soft keys
  • fast response
  • big activity space
  • working surface resolution 4000 lpi
  • support different software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe package), CorelDraw etc.
Cons
  • not attractive design
  • drivers for Huion 1060 should always be install on a clean computer or laptop, where there was no other graphics tablet, especially the company Wacom. In otherwise exist chance that problem can appear.

Graphic tablet HUION 1060PRO

HUION 1060PROThe size of the tablet is 360x240x10 mm. The working surface size is 10 "x 6.25" (approximately 25x16 cm). The size of the tablet was chosen very successfully, it is very convenient to use them for absolute positioning of the pointer. By the way, the relative position of the cursor (as a mouse) does not exist in the drivers.

On the side are as many as 12 programmable buttons. Also on the work surface is marked with icons for 16 soft keys, on which you can hang an additional 16 functions that will work when you touch the pen.

Between the buttons on the Huion tablet is a logo that glows when used and changes the intensity of the glow, depending on the intensity of the pen.

The plastic in this model is not of the highest quality. The body itself does not play, but the buttons are slightly unsteady.

In general, the tablet looks decent, the design is simple and concise.

Pros
  • low price
  • 8 buttons and 16 soft keys
  • good position recognition
  • sufficiently accurate recognition of the force of pressing
  • fast response
  • 2048 levels of smart sensitivity
  • working surface resolution 5080 lpi
  • simple minimalist design
Cons
  • there is no eraser with a pen
  • plastic and assembly is not of the highest quality
  • limited pen sensitivity setting
  • simple equipment

HUION 1060 PRO vs 1060

Externally, the HUION 1060PRO tablet looks the same as HUION 1060. The same 8 fast and 16 function buttons, the same size of the working surface of 254 × 159 mm.

So what has changed? Refined the pen! Now in HUION 1060PRO it supports 8192 levels of depression and it is equipped with a battery.

The old model runs on a small battery, which is not too cool. it has to be changed from time to time. Levels of smart sensitivity of the old pen - 2048, and now this figure has increased 4 times. Now the resolution of the working surface is not 4000 lpi, but 5080 lpi.

HUION 1060PRO obviously reaches to professional models more than HUION 1060, and it can be safely recommended as the main working tool.

But honestly, this two tablets completely same. If the main goal for you it's just edit photos or for fun, you can buy Huion 1060 and it will be enough. But if your goal  professional using — Huion 1060PRO will be better, because it has higher working surface resolution.
