Read MoreThe comparison of Huion 1060 Plus vs XP-Pen OSU G430 revealed the diversities between budget Huion 1060 Plus and low-cost XP-Pen OSU G430 and the reasons for Huion 1060 Plus’ higher price bearing in mind the units’ identical building (they have no screen), resolution, and pressure sensitivity.
The check of XP-Pen OSU G430 vs Huion 1060 Plus permits to compare their design first and to note XP-Pen OSU G430’s much smaller dimensions and active area that make it an appropriate gadget for the low-resolution devices like laptops. It is very thin and light so may seem to be not very reliable while 1060 Plus is light and sturdy at the same time.
XP-Pen focuses on OSU playing and doesn’t require any drivers to install. However, in case of using it for OSU, note that its refresh reaches around 130 Hz that is less than many monitors’ refresh rate.
This model demonstrates a stable cursor without any wobbling while drawing. It does its job – drawing, sketching, creating e-signatures, but it doesn’t fit for heavy-duty tasks. XP-Pen OSU G430 also can’t stand plenty of fast movements in a minute and is getting slippery losing its matt texture.
1060 Plus fits comic drawing, photo touch-up, architectural rendering, and it is compatible with the office apps. This gadget has a plethora of buttons to make any adjustments you want and to set them to any apps (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.). It comes with the programmable express keys to replace a keyboard if it is necessary.
Both tablets have no cleaning kit and anti-fouling glove in the box. They lack multitouch and can’t be used for drawing by pen and fingers simultaneously.
XP-Pen’s stylus is battery-free with the control buttons on it. It isn’t bulky or heavy but rather convenient to hold and to use due to its balanced weight. This model comes without a pen holder versus Huion 1060 Plus’ pen that is rechargeable and needs about 4 hours to work for a week flawlessly. Its 2 buttons can be switched without lifting a hand.
