Having had an opportunity to test Wacom Intuos Art vs Huion 1060 Plus, I’d like to share my impression here to facilitate your choice.
Huion 1060 Plus is a truly good alternative for bandy fans like me. It's a good thing, easy to use, easy to install and configure. I personally tested this device and noticed several important features. The surface does not scratch using the handle. Therefore, it does not need a protective film. I bought it for retouching the photo and it showed – there are no delays in a drawing. Besides, the developer gives customers some gifts - 1 carrying case that guards your tablet against scratches and small scrapes and 1 glove that reduces the friction between your hand and the surface.
Huion 1060 Plus PROS:
- I installed the driver without problems on my Windows 10. Pleased with the fact that all the software is in the micro SD memory.
- The stylus is very comfortable and has a nice gift - an eraser.
- I want to note that the standard pen settings are absolutely optimal for me, as a user. I didn’t have to increase sensitivity.
- I was pleasantly surprised with the number of programmable buttons. There are 12 express buttons on the side and another 16 function keys above/below the working surface (depending on what hand to write or to draw).
Huion 1060 Plus CONS:
- The pen needs periodic recharging. Not critical but a little uncomfortable.
- There is no "margin" on the graphic for the finger. But in general, the quality of operation is not affected.
- I know how to use the knob buttons. But for beginners, possible frequent accidental clicks, which can sometimes bring inconvenience in working with applications.

Wacom Intuos Art – performs a new level of painting and drawing
Wacom Intuos Art is in the top of the device among the users. It opens new opportunities for the realization of the creative plans.
Wacom Intuos Art PROS:
- It is beautiful and pleasant to the touch. Thanks to 4 rubber feet, it does not slip.
- I worried about the installation of drivers but in vain. There are absolutely no difficulties. I spent a little time adjusting the tablet itself, but the program interface is very simple.
- The tablet responds very accurately to the pressure and inclination of the pen. I really like that it retains the feeling of traditional drawing.
Wacom Intuos Art CONS:
- As for me, the stylus is quite handy, but the lower button presses uncertainty as if it's not a button, but the touchpad.
- The pen does not understand the slope, but it is able to recognize 1024 degrees of depression.
- The USB cable is easily connected, but it's very short.
What to choose: Wacom Intuos Art or Huion 1060 Plus?
After I compare the receivers, I can say that the choice of the one versus in the other comes down to preferences for daily use, such as a functional digital pen and a removable storage medium. And here I would vote for Huion 1060 Plus in our comparison chart. If you are not afraid of the high price and the lack of micro SD cards, then choose Wacom.
Your choice can also be determined by the preference of specific additional features, gesture support, photo processing, and the availability of advanced software packages.
