BenQ HT2050 vs Optoma HD27

Comparison of Benq and Optoma – popular projectors for home

I had a chance to test BenQ HT2050 and Optoma HD27. Let's try to compare them as much as possible. The Optoma HD27 vs BenQ HT2050 is brighter, it has 1200 lumens more. Optoma is also more contrast than BenQ (25000: 1 vs. 15000: 1). It is clear detailing – the resolution of 1920x1080p pixels – is an ideal choice for watching movies. With 3400 lumens, the picture in Optoma is incredibly bright even with all lights on and a sunny day on! The colors are stunning, and the image is very sharp. Enjoy video games, movies, and favorite TV shows anytime. Gaming Mode optimizes the projector's settings to achieve a minimum response time while maintaining maximum contrast and color brightness.

As for the BenQ HT2050 – there is no rainbow effect at all, what cannot be said about Optoma. BenQ has excellent image quality. The only glitch that I experienced - when I started the test grid screen from the setup menu during video playback via HDMI, the projector is locked. I had to turn it off and turn it on again.
