Setup

There are no complicated steps involved in setting up the Wacom CTL4100 graphic tablet. I opened the box and removed the tablet along with the USB cable, pen, and quick-start guide. Next, I connected the tablet to my computer using the USB cable or wireless connection via Bluetooth. I went to the Wacom website to get the most recent driver for the CTL4100 graphic tablet, then I followed the on-screen directions to finish the installation on my computer. After installing the driver, I customized the tablet’s settings, assigned functions to the ExpressKeys, set the tablet’s orientation, and adjusted the pen sensitivity on the Wacom Desktop Center.

Once I completed the setup, I tested the CTL 4100 tablet by launching Adobe Photoshop app and drawing a few shapes to which the tablet responded seamlessly. The tablet uses a passive pen, hence there was no need to charge the pen.
