Setup
This gadget comes with a micro CD to install software, but it’s also possible to download it from the Huion official website. Then, connect the main monitor to the tablet via a USB, HDMI, and power cables. This model works only by being connected to a computer. It’s compatible with Mac and Windows systems.
Features
First, the Huion GT-221 Pro specs include a large active area of 18.7 x 10.5. The response time is 14.5ms, but it might fluctuate depending on the drawing software used. The tablet itself doesn’t have a pen delay. However, this issue is possible because of a computer’s low speed.
One can animate with this tablet if the relevant software is downloaded. The GT-221 Pro is even compatible with 3D programs (ZBrush, for example) and music notation software like Sibelius or MuseScore.
There’s no need in a screen protector for this model since it has a matte finish screen coming with a plastic sheet for a dust cover.
